Coffee has an aura that tea doesn’t have in Western culture. There are a lot of coffee enthusiasts around the globe, and these enthusiasts get really excited about coffee. While less mainstream, tea also has its appeal. But it’s enthusiasts are not as many—or at least, they are not as loud about their passion for tea. As an author, you need to ask yourself whether your writing is like coffee or like tea. Do you want to write for the masses? Or do you want to write for a smaller group of readers?
