Today I was reflecting on my journey as a writer and an entrepreneur, and the thing that stood out the most was this: To get extraordinary rewards, we must endure extraordinary pain. It is the failures, the pain, the discomfort, and the stress that makes us worthy of what stands on the other side. To achieve great goals, you need to overcome great obstacles. There is no way around it. As Ray Dalio said it, “Pain + Reflection = Progress,” and progress is the key to being successful in anything.
