To be a prolific writer, you must wage war against yourself. You must trick yourself into thinking certain things to motivate yourself and write as much and as effectively as possible. In this process, no trick is below you. It doesn’t matter how stupid the trick might be; it doesn’t matter how silly it sounds to other people. This process is yours and yours alone, and you must do what you can to defy the odds. The reality is, it’s challenging to be a prolific writer. No trick is below you.
