Some people spend more time worrying about their ideas getting stolen than writing. Most fear of getting ripped off is unfounded and ludicrous. If your ideas are worth stealing, that’s a sign you’re doing something right. But the reality is, it’s hard to steal ideas. Even if someone succeeded, they could never pretend to be the author long enough. The best authors have their voice, their style, their brand, and their themes — and they are impossible to imitate without being found out. Spend your time writing, not worrying that someone will rip you off.
