Not long ago, a lawyer reminded me that the law is the law and that it’s always better to be prudent. This got me thinking about the writing mistakes people make which result not in lawsuits but rather in staying invisible or hindering their credibility. I reflected on the three laws of writing, which are: 1) The writer shall be of service. 2) The writer shall be learning through the process. 3) The writer shall be invisible.
